FG camping is no worse than a Scout with REs that just hides and waits for the Objective to start flashing. No aim necessary.
If anybody goes 20/0 ever, in any match, your team helped them do it. Diversify your team tactics. (Hillside Sniper for the rooftoppers and to call in positioning, FTW.) |

I know most corps and players that play PC know this and believe in not a problem, to the point that it became the foundation of the strategy in nearly all corps and PC Fight. I'm talking about the Forge Gunners camping on top of a tower or structure, overlooking an objective to one shot killing any and all enemy their eyes lay upon.
Forge Gun camping is now make PC battle easy, unbalance, and annoying to play PC when it take no skill. (It's an easy 20/0 game, if you can't do 10/0 game you're a legitimate scrub only good at applying lotion)
Now guys going try to defend why Forge Guns has nothing wrong because of the Fat suit.
Two thumbs down bro!

Just throw a flux grenade on the objective and all equipment that had beeing deployed are instantly destroyed. To get rid off a forgegunner it takes much more. Usually a logi will get into the dropship aswell to place down several nanohives (armor repping and ammo) and drop uplinks in the case a heavy gets sniped. Its allmost impossible to approach a tower/high ground building with more then 2 heavys camping it with a dropship. And if they get sniped it takes only 5 secs to respawn with proto drop uplinks. So your only option is to get a orbital and then quickly deploy your heavys there before the enemy does it. |

Maintaining the high ground is a critical part of any strategy. Even if forge guns were taken out of the game, I can almost guarantee you would still be on here complaining about the charge sniper rifle and roof campers.
Pro tip: Get a tactical sniper rifle and shut the forge gunner down with head shots. If you can't do that then just quit the game. |

I have hit moving targets with the FG, but it is a stroke of luck every single time.
If you die because a FG Heavy is camping an objective, stop going to the damn objective to get killed. Take him out first!
If it is splash damage killing you, you suck! Stop sitting still. Their isn't one single suit in PC that can be one shotted by FG Splash Damage aside from maybe a Scout. If you get caught more than once in a FG's blast radius, you need to find another game to play! |

is there any difference? No. you can do just about the same thing with both... and dnt even talk about splash damage. Forguns have splash because there is no ADS with a forge gun. Snipers have ADS and therefore have no splash.
you know what broke PC? proto SWARMS and AV nades being able to kill any vehicle in the game when equiped to 1 person. you know what broke PC? Proto caldari suits with proto ARs that out gun HMGS and make all other guns useless... that broke PC.. |

you guys shut the OP down too hard... i almost feel sorry for him. Op your teammates did not do their job. no matter hwo good they are if they do not address a problem it will get worse....
- if there is a proto sniper on a hill or on the enemy MCC shooting an objective and your team does not counter snipe then you will suffer
- if there is a proto tank running a muck on your team and killing everyone and no goes AV he will ruin you...
- god for bud there is a nova knifer running around killing your allies and they say nothing or do nothing... he will ruin your team.
no excuse. When you get a splinter in your finger dnt just leave it there you it will get infested and you will suffer dearly for it... |

Holds objective by themselves,and keeps vehicles away.
Sniper only does the first.
And no caldari suits didn't break it dude.. Gungame beats the difference in suits strengths. |

I don't have a problem with this.
Last night me and a corp mate grabbed charge sniper rifles, and started counting off "1...2...3!" and double-tapping an entire squad of drop-linking tower-camping snipers and forge gunners in the head... And they kept respawning... And we were completely fine with this... We had a lot of ammunition...
Why on earth would I ever complain about someone respawning due to me blowing their head off? |
