Depends on the game mode: In public only militia as this is more rewarding for me in Planetary Conquest either the core focussed or the Six Kin.
But I am still a bit undecided about replacing the Triage Tool whith Triage Hives.... |

Not to sound like a **** but anything proto. The dual beams are gold and give you another shot at locking onto the right person if there are multiple people around. The core repair tool is hilarious for following heavies around with.
Basically just know that once you get used to two beams, you don't go back |

Unless it's a wide open map like Manus Peak, I generally use triage hives. All other cases, I'll use a flux repper or the core focused when I'm with tankers or heavies and I know I'm not going to die. |

Flux, the range means that you can repair people without having to break cover yourself. Handy to keep heavies going in the battlefield. |

Dual beam proto normally. One beam locked on my heavy, the other for whoever needs it.
Either that or my BPO repper on a full BPO suit. |

I just use triage nanohives.
Saves you a ton of SP if you proto nanocircuitry and use Nanite injector, Ammo nano hives and rep nanohives and since I'm gallente I have a 4th slot for scanning or uplinks. |

Yep I run lai dai and core focused on my protosuit. Being able to rep assault/scout players from 20m is pretty nice. The focused is for following heavys. Put a proto scanner ishy nanohive and you are golden.
On adv suit I usually run triage tool since proto tools are too expensive and the regular core really doesnt provide enough reps.
If using hives for triage its better to use compact or wirkomi. The other two triage hives have really slow ammo replenishment. Wish there was an advanced compact that came with 2 and a proto that came with 3.
At any rate, proto equipment is too expensive to run on a regular basis. |

Being an Amarr logi I have weaponry, shields, and plates eating up most of my CPU and PG so I'm only able to fit advanced equipment on even my proto suits. Thus I am usually going with the BDR-8 (I think thats its name at least) triage repper. On my standard Dren Minmatar logi I use when making cash in pub matches I use a flux |

BDR-8
It only costs maybe 6 more cpu than the BDR-2, hardly anything more in isk, and repairs 41/s (3 less than prototype)
The problem with the other repair tools is that they don't heal fast enough or they cost too much for their worth. For instance, if I'm not running with a group and I die without having repped someone even once, I'd rather die with a BDR-8 than a prototype flux or six kin.
Also, the dual beams are nice again if you're in a concentrated/focused group. Domination/Ambush is great for this, but I mostly run skirmish. The other thing is that again like stated before, until they fix the friendly health bars problem, I'm not running a repair tool on my main suits. Instead I replaced that slot with the scanner...and hopefully 1.5 should introduce some wp for using it. |

Core focused on an armour tanked Sentinel. Say hello to win.
I use militia. And I use it to rep my dropship because I can't fit the module on it . . . does that count? |

I hate you personally, fyi, but I'll agree with you.
Repair tools are rendered slightly useless because seeing who is hurt and who isn't is beyond fixable at this point. But, if you could see who was hurt, I'd go with the BDR-8 (It's definitely the 8th variant). It's got lowest cpu/pg and does the most healing, and is extremely cost effective. If you have the pg/cpu to spend then it's situational. For following heavies use the Core Focused repair tool, at 105hp/s you can't go wrong. If you're following anyone else, the Six Kin is a double repair tool with 44hp/s (iirc) so it'll get any of your assaults/scouts/logis healed up in no time and has a great effective range.
Most of my suits hold the BDR-8 tool for cost effective requirements, isk is rare! My proto has the core focused.

If I have to go with my favorite, it has to be the core. At 105/s, the wp thing flashes on your screen super fast, and it allows yo more proof AR's op, sniping enabled too. |

Generally BDR 8 when I use it, mostly in matches where we dominate and nobody is going to use my uplinks. Otherwise it's triage hives until they fix the health bars.
(i guess If I'm running solo in a pub battle I'll use one of the MLT/STD ones I still have in stock with a cheap suit.) |
