besty part is that its like the devs are banned from talking about the subject.
first post in the most visable thread possable about vehicles...
and still no response on rendering :P
its true though, you cant balance vehicles in the current rendering environment.
not being able to see is such a powerful nerf that you would either have to make them cost next to nothing, or make them SUPER OP in every other way to compensate.
plus they are slowly figuring out that the militia to proto gear model isnt going to actually work as they try as best they can to figure out what a proto tank is supposed to look like. |

Imo Eve is also a very clean balancing environment because there is range and falloff, but no cover.
they learned that tiers dont work...
we have tiers
they spent 10 years designing their skill system... and yet the skill system we have is similar but completly different in how it interacts with gear |
