Been playing since Beta, this patch is meant to appeal to new players with the tutorial.
But don't worry GLaDOS..er..CCP has said that we can expect Cake in 1.7......
So I will just keep waiting for Cake......Years if I have too.....Pour as much money as I can into this game because I will get Cake next patch......Doesnt everyone want Cake?....Just wait till next patch.....We will all be happy and have SOOOO much Cake.
Sorry got distracted.
My feedback is: - Don't lead us with expectations and miss deadlines. + Along with new players will have a better experience than everyone who started before them. Less terribad Blueberries. - Single Player disappeared. A great lead in for new players to get their hands on stuff and understand. More terribad Blueberries. - Nothing stands out about this game, no mechanics, no experience, nothing. Its a shell like something you present people for a kick-starter. - I would say its free, but its not. - Its not hardcore, Dead Souls is hardcore. - Its interface is nothing like Eve, its like a cheap knockoff. + Some of the players are fun to talk too. - Some of the players are really a special type. ~ Its an MMO and with all MMO's the more time and money you sink the "better" you are. (Unless you are bad game...bad gamer is always bad) - Your customer service is rather spotty. I sometimes get offered to submit feedback when they do something good, but if they screw me they don't send me a form. In the industry we call that "painting" the best picture for the Executives.
Feedback so far, will keep posting as it develops. Thank you for you patience and please understand that my opinion is an on-going project that grows and develops....... |

This is the reason why they are very reluctant with telling us anything about what the patches will introduce. And my opinion is they should just tell us. If they can't introduce it when they've planned it, then so be it. But it would be better to at least kno instead of being in the dark all the time.

You should open the fitting menu once in a while. It's great.

You're really forcing it, don't you? Besides: Dark Souls isn't hardcore either. You just have to take a second before you run into your enemies. Also. Damn. I can't think of any game that has less to do with Dust 514.

I opened the fitting menu.... its amazing a radial wheel I have never seen that before. I also use that same radial wheel in combat where it glitches and breaks quite often.
Hardcore as in takes dedication and you die a lot without warning. It is ALOT like Dust except you die from enemies in Dead Souls and the programming kills you in Dust. |

Hardcore as in takes dedication and you die a lot without warning. It is ALOT like Dust except you die from enemies in Dead Souls and the programming kills you in Dust. You are obviously not aware of the difference between consoles and pc. The dust UI is not SUPPOSED to be exactly like eve, it would be impossible to use it with the ds3. Also, you can't have been around here for very long to not know that the UI is one of the most updated things in the game. As for things that stand out? There are plenty, the isk-based battle system which makes every kill and death have actual impact other than a pointless kdr score? The ability to seize control of and benefit from sections of planets and fight other players for the rights to it?
Hey Bro, you play D3 on console yet? You are so right when you say Radial wheel design is SO much harder to do on console.
You fight 3 types of battle there big guy..... You have been fighting those 3 styles for almost a year in some cases. 1) Team Death Match 2) Team Objective 3) Team King of the Hill
KDR who said anything about that useless stat? (And to be honest who cares?) WP are what matters.
PC Battles are a joke. Literally a joke, who cares? Unlike Eve Dust does not have the leveling factor because of timer that limits any activity. This nulls the free attack model and turns it into a 24-hour cycle, its not a live system its a time based event.
Considering you need a good 2-3 Months of playtime to achieve any high level gear. Now consider that once you invest in something it can change and be rendered to a totally different style, with no recourse for players. Then begin to see that promises of what could be and what is are TOTALLY different.
Been playing games for 20 years junior and this one is gonna end up a bug splatter on windshield of gaming history if it doesn't get its act together.
Thanks for your opinion and we appreciate your feedback, as you know my opinion is a work in progress.

I don't even know what you want to compare.
Oh yeah because this game was never supposed to have a PVE portion....no wait...it did. Nub.
Also Dead Souls is PvP Nub.
Thats 2 nubs for you little one run home now that your bumm is red. |

Just touching on one more little fact.
Re-draw/rendering graphics for tank pilots is HORRIBLE. I am a lucky tanker who almost always has voice chat and people in both turrets.
My turrets call out swarms and spot infantry/vehicles because I literally cannot see them.
You going to fix this too in the next nothing patch? Let me guess, Dust is a work in progress and we will be addressing that issue shortly.
Next you will have me using an active model "Sonar" to see things around the battlefield turning me into an over-sized metal bat. |
