Jakar raises an eyebrow at his change of manner from the lunatic that had taken his bartender hostage. He ponders briefly on the possibilities. He's a Gen I.

Jakar thinks about removing the cube from his jacket, but decides not to do it yet.

"Is there a reason you attacked my bartender, and proceeded to stab one of my security personnel?"

"Probably, though unfortunately I cannot recall, are they alright and do tell them that. I will of course pay for any inconveniences I caused to occur."

He looks around.

"You said I attacked two employees, but there are more than 2 injured people here, pray tell me why."

*Arc stares at the small cube that was just revealed from Jakar's pocket. Arc remembered seeing the object start flashing red when it was on the floor, it still flashed red, but not as vividly or as fast as it had before. "Is that..... Jove tech?" asked Arc with uncertainty.

"Welcome to the Second Hex. You look new here," she smiles. "The dance floor is right in front of you if you want to work up a sweat. There are bars on this floor and on each of the balconies if you're looking for a drink or a snack. The casino is on the top floor on the glass ceiling. The music isn't as loud up there if you're wondering. If you want a show there are dancers just about everywhere." She motions to a set of double doors on either side next to the stairs that lead up to the balconies. "If you're feeling more adventurous, the Pleasure Hub is downstairs. If you need a party favour" - she produces a small clear plastic zip bag with a few varying narcotics - "we can provide."

Galm eyes the bouncer cynically, biting down hard on his cheek to stop himself from outright shouting. He's internally screaming in anguish, but he is masking it with a certain skill that only an immortal could master.

He twitches slightly when he realizes he just said... No, shouted that out loud. He sighs loudly, running his hands through his hair as he tosses the bouncer the five ISK entry fee. It was nothing compared to the money he had just earned from Eskola today. A trashy looking kakku saunters up to him seductively.



Galm fixes his gold trimmed aviators into position, looking straight through her.

"Are you paid to ask every ******* who walks through this door the same question? You know what, nevermind."

A storm of mental strangeness was brewing behind his sunglasses.

"Do you have any Frentix? Any kind of painkillers? I eh... Need my fix."

Aztec looks up at the stranger, squinting against the lights from the ceiling. The light makes it almost impossible to see his inquisitors' faces. Aztec's open mouth smile (showing modded teeth, that look like fangs) widens as he hears Arc's inquiry.

"I question; what leads you to your inquiry?"

He turns to look at the cube and then at Jakar.

"That my dear friend, is a Nanite Shroud Projector."

Jakar sifts through his knowledge of nanite technology but comes up empty. A few theories pop into his head, but without any more explanation they are all baseless and thus pointless.

"A little more than the device's name if you will," he says pouring another drink. He leans onto the bar as he takes a sip of his drink, waiting for Aztec to explain.

Realizing the tone in Aztec's voice along with the smile, Heathen calmly says "Oh crap. Jakar, I'd really suggest putting some distance between ya'll and that thing. Something says this is about to go all kinds of south."

*presses a button from one of the tools i accidentaly brought with me earlier, causing the red blinking to stop*

"G_38NCU; Nanite control unit. also known as a nanite shroud. little guys are linked to his neocom, so Aztec can control them at will. this little thing i have here however, *Holds up a small device similar to a pistol grip* Repurposed central Computer made by Thukker; stops the nanites from following whatever orders the 'master' is committing, putting them in a semiactive state. main use is for damaged Miniature Nanite factories built into Armor repair units."

Last I checked Drone Control linked directly to a neural interface still had some glitches due to feedback on the neural control end since they are so much more complex than the simpler programs our NeoComs can interface with. To have a funtional microscale variant however that can operate on multiple units..." Jakar lifts up the cube. "G_38... Is this an Allotek Industries prototype?"

sadly, yeah but not just them,it was a collaboration project between Allotek's R&D and Thukker Engineers. but anything specific is out of the question, Allotek has been real crafty on how they work, especially their R&D.
The test run was in caldari prime until a friendly dropship got hit, damaging the control unit assigned to the pilot. you can probably guess what happened to the passengers from then on. *nodding towards Aztec*

Without looking at Hunter, Jakar begins talking. "Much as I love Matari for their ingenuity and ability to solves problems, you're thinking way too narrowly about this. This goes beyond simple standardized battlefield applications. This thing is black ops to the core and because of that you can be sure of two things: It won't be mass produced for a very long time and Allotek have already received a massive increase in funding from the part of the Federation government that doesn't exist. This now begs the very important question as to what our friend here is doing with one months after the Caldari Prime incident." Jakar's eyes drift up from the cube to Aztec.

"Field Testing experimental Tech in an uncontrolled civilian environment?" i replied as i glance at Jakar, then back at the cube as i pick it up, setting it down a fair distance from aztec.

"but even then; what would they gain from literally giving away the tech to an immortal whom other immortal now possess?"
