DS3 users should be able to manage...

Did they pull AA? Because I was playing a few hours ago and still noticed it.

Also I've been playing actively since open beta and used the DS3 the whole time. I still can't tell who uses a mouse and who uses a controller.

I've been playing FPS since they where only over IPX, and Ghost Recon was on every dorm computer at West Point-so my experience more than yours

My 15 year old is set up with mouse and keyboard for DUST and I have tried it is so much easier-maybe you need a better mouse.

This game has no raw feedback. Its a big flaw and any mouse user can tell you think. I use kb/mouse for MMO's and RTS on PC (while I use a gamepad for PC FPS) and the kb/m support in this game is ****.

lol, kb/m is utter crap in this game. Seriously, im a gamepad user through and through but try keyboard and mouse in this game then go and try it on a PC FPS.

It was something fundamentally wrong with the AA, to the point that was practically a "cheat" instead of an "aid". It suppose to help you to aim, not aim for you. You know something is wrong when everyone "not" using the aim-assist gets annihilated, DS3 or Mouse.

(I run a 500 ehp Miniassault with Mass Driver and Burst Scrambler Pistol, my kills with scrambler pistol have tripled since .4, still with no aim assist)

Well here is a secret, look at the top players in DUST, go to PSNprofiles.com and be amazed how few of them have any PS3 FPS experience; and when you want to drill down on let say a BF3 player go to bf3stats.com and look up their stats with thier psn id. They are good at dust because they stomp on little kids and then beat their chests.

Maybe you should try having your sensitivity maxed out and it still being slow.

Since most console gamers understand CoD, the max sensitivity in that is 10 and THATS slow, dusts 100 is like playing CoD on defult settings while being high.

No they did not scrap it, just toned it down as was mentioned earlier. I still notice it sometimes, but it is much more subtle now (as it should be IMHO).

Can't speak of kb/m vs DS3 since I have not tried both

In open ground I am a goner, but I use a mass driver so I stick to the citadels mostly, however if I do come across a ar, my burst scrambler pistol makes short work of them!!

I'm a horrible player, have no aim, run logi suits and focus on doing logi stuff, and still manage a KDR of around 1.75.

Guess if you can only manage a 1.0 kdr against 'scrub noobs called dusters', you should really, really, really learn to play

My complaints are based on discussions that I have had with my friends after this weekend. Many LAGGERS with KB/M have infested the servers, and LAG+WASD is just too ******* stupid, with AA DS3 users stood a chance now it is back to spraying rounds.

Oh yea most definitely. It's not as strong as before but its still there. It feels a lil bit looser than before.

The pre hotfix, the game played like a campaign of Killzone...a cover shooter.

I think the KBM vs DS3 argument holds some weight but at the same time, its all about the user and how he approaches the fight.

Pulling AA without notice nor explanation is troubling. It took you months to come up with a solution, and you implemented AA, to mitigate the grotesque inbalance between KB and DS3. Pulling AA has made that inequality even greater, specifically in regards to uncapped rotational speed for the mouse.

What is your plan?
When can we expect to hear about it?
Are the KB'ers still going to get their controls buffed visa vie manual settings?
Why? and who? made the decision to pull AA?
Does CCP think that the pounding that DS3 users take day in and day out make for good entertainment?

I use ADV or militia suits for pub matches. Protosuits only for PC or when going up against 2 full squads in pub match with a decent squad of my own.

Second, KDR is no indicator, agreed. Yet, when you have someone calling everyone scrub noobs using his own 1.0 kdr as an example.... What else can you do? If you're going to compare e-peen on the forums, make sure you actually have an e-peen to compare with, amirite?

WPs are also tricky because of logi WP inflation. Heavies for example wouldnt earn even close to the same as logi's and scouts/assaults arnt far behind the earning threshhold of the heavy.

Once when I did play cod I used a shotgun went 29-4 and got called a scrubby noob, by a guy who fell to me 7 times, even thoughI killed him he got the jump on me with a tac insertion and sstill died!

Unless your starting out as a new merc, when its all based on word of mouth, new blood could find it hard to get work, I mean I don't have a reputation, I play on the eu servers and we brits are just to civilised to send hate mail and rage!! I really want someone to compliment my mass driver!!

As a new merc, those stats are pretty meaningless anyway since the numbers aren't sufficient to give an accurate representation.

I think MD users don't get that many hatemails compared to others. I've only ever received 1 hatemail and that was because i killed someone with a militia locus nade

DCUO isn't too bad, downloaded it a couple of weeks ago to see what the fuss was about, but not really a fan of the limitations on the free to play version.

It would be great if CCP would weigh in on this since they said the have no plans to change AA but are reviewing feedback.

KBM is nowhere near how it should be, i am paying as much as you are to play this game, they said they supported Native KBM, but we still only get Virtual KBM, though ive most likely payed more then you to play this game.

4x Eve active Accounts, 1 Dust Account, 2x Ps3 and 400 euro on Boosters give or take a few 100's...

But even if they deactivate KBM, other DS3 users will totally destroy you anyways and you will move onto something else to QQ about.

Yes he is-he thinks Dust is Vaporware, that CCP is building a game on the backs of trusting PSN'ers, that will be ported over to the PC. I am beginning to think that he is correct-two months of working on DS3 "FIX" then pulling it after the bitchfest here last week.

The K/d ratio in this game is a joke. And it hurts it's credibilty as a FPS. Insane numbers kdr. LOL

But I agree.. when you have noobs that have never played a FPS to save their life, with higher K/D ratio than you know something is up.


A while ago, I made a server on BF3 to mimic the game modes in dust. Named the server dust and invited dust players. a lot of dust players came on to play. and let me tell you... I wasn't surprised at what I saw. LOL

But those dusters that had BF BC, MOH, and FPS experience did obviously better. But the FPS noobs that are great at dust, were struggling with BF3. very interesting. But surprising.
