Too many times I've depleted my own and when my ammo is exhausted there's no hives anywhere. I've even had to go to the initial spawn to get my refill.
What do you assault guys even carry in your eq-slot?
Please, when you are in a place where there's been massive firefight and there's lots of teammates, be assured there's someone who needs ammo.

Let people know you need a hive YO!
I usually do this by running to the nearest logi and meleeing him. They usually get it if your armour is 100%. |

Huh? You mean that blank spot between their M1 grenade and armor plate? The one they keep trying to put a second grenade or another damage mod in? Got me!

Have you also tried using better then STD hives? Maybe level 4 quantums would help you out. |

Anyone know if the empty gun sound is audible to other players?
I spent a decent part of an ambush match once clicking my empty gun at friendly players, hoping someone had a hive.
...nobody did, but I finally got more ammo after I ran into a group of enemies clicking and smacking them with my rifle
We need an automatic "low ammo" icon over friendlies when you have a nanohive equipped, like how you see downed teammates with an injector equipped |

STD or ADV nanohive. I'd rather leave my grenade slot empty than drop out nanohive |

We need some kind of indicator that you need ammo.
To the ghostly annihilator: I have lvl4 hives, even fits where I use 2 of different kinds but the problem is often that the firefight moves and nanohives do not.
I usually play skirmish.

I deploy my Nanohives and Uplinks at defensible positions to create a safe place for my team to resupply and rejoin the battle. I'll move it up when the team pushes up, not when a few lunatics charge behind enemy lines. I'm not a babysitter. |

They really do need a call for ammo command. I no longer carry nanos and run out of ammo quickly. Logis gets your stuff together! |

That's assuming the logi is actully running hives...
My min proto logi almost always has hives but nit always on adv suits.
Also, it's damn near impossible to figure out what you want unless we have voice with Ya, for all we know your just a troll. |

Very true. I have been making a habit of dropping random nanohives whether I need them or not. I find its beneficial. And now that I do it more often, i ask myself why I wasn't it doing it before.

Indeed. What's the point of carrying nanohives if you don't use them?
I also drop them quite often where I think they would be needed and lo and behold, the +10 WP notices tell me that they are indeed used. |

i carry nothing because that is the role of a logi plus i use a logi use as an assault suits so no equipment so i can carry my proto type weapon and damage mods. - said every logi assaulter ever. |

I drop K-2 nanohives regularly. As soon as one is dropped, you see a swarm of blueberries rushing in to replenish ammo and it goes in less than 30 seconds. |

I still dont understand why assaults complain about having to run back to the supply depot and get more ammo but refuse to carry a descent (Adv or Proto) hive on their suit. If your not willing to run at least adv level nanohives you don't get to complain about not having any. |

On my Medic Alt that is exactly when I'd drop a nanohive. By the time it fully spawns everyone has already rushed off, even the guys in my squad.  |
