The Caldari and Amarr were effectively wiped out FW wise.
I noticed that some of the worst blueberries in the history of mankind were fighting on the Amarr side in DUST FW, but what happened in EVE that led to the Amarr and Caldari collapse? |

CCP gave the Amarr and the Caldari the weakest pvp ships in the game

Except Caldari ships are great for PVE
Also CCP is suffering from their own story telling, Caldari and the Amarr are suppose to represent right wing aspects our world and due to player preference the numbers of people participating in fw are very off balanced. The Caldari were faceless until Tibus Heath, and the Amarr already were given religion and slavery. While people can use other ships most like to fw for the stronger ships they use to get even stronger versions of them. |

and they can only fly their racial ships according to the faction they are fighting for. Really crappy rule in my opinion.

You mean you just don't know how to fit Amarr and Caldari ships for PvP, right?

Pretty much entirely this.
All the cool kids wanna fight slavery or fight for democracy, very few wanna be fascist capitalists or religious nuts.
Theres probably also economic reasons as well, ppl have farmed up lots of LP and wanna cash in, I may be out of date but it used to be that controlling the FW systems raised your factions tier on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 offering great discounts on the LP you spend at the LP store, so powers that be have been saving up millions of LP and wanna cash it in at good rates. |

You mean you just don't know how to fit Amarr and Caldari ships for PvP, right? I know Minmatar ships are really good for PvP...but Gallente? Sure, blaster fits are OK, but its just Kin/Therm damage, and they don't do anything past a few km...
And for some reason I thought Caldari ships were 2nd best for PvP...really, really good PvE, but nothing to laugh at PvP (especially at range) |

Well, 7 months ago you had near Minmatar domination on the WZ, then the Amarr pushed them back to around a 75%/25% split (A/M) for a couple of months, then it was a 50/50 split for a few months, and now it's back to the way it was and is merely waiting for another pendulum swing.
I can't speak for the Cal/Gal WZ, however.
FW sovereignty is all about a mixture of morale, burnouts, and LP farmers. Minmatar faction ships always sell well, so the core players get a lot of help plexing. AmarrMil has always been the smallest militia, thus most of the players who join it are looking for PvP against the larger MinMil. Truth be told, most AmarrMil just have no desire for plexing.
Plexing is like hacking an objective for 10+ min except you might never have a redberry come by. |

It really depends on how you package it. In that star wars MMO, everyone wanted to play for the Sith Empire. Slavery, fascism, murder, cool armor. If CCP started an Amarr showcase portraying them as cool villains, you'd see mass defections in no time. |

Fweddit abandoned faction warfare, so that's probably why the Amarr militia has collapsed. They had gotten so large that the Minmatar weren't even trying to fight back anymore. |

I've got to agree with this.
I'm an EVE and DUST player. The reason I chose Amarr about four years ago when I first started EVE was that they seemed to be the most fun to RP and also I liked the thought of being the bad guy. Something about how the Amarr wanting to convert everyone to their faith and expand their empire while doing so really enticed me.
Like you stated above, if CCP did something to show the Amarr as being the cool or bad-ass bad guys, you'd see people flock to the Amarr Empire.
DUST wise, the Amarr have the coolest looking armor and weapon (SCR) by far. |

Please, Tibus was a tyrant as worse as they come, friend among friends a enemy of everyone else. Being faceless has what made the caldari so dangerous in the past mind you. All in the faith of the core of the immortal ideals to follow is far more productive than following the ideals of an insane man with no love for his nation. As for FW things, there are no restrictions on equipment,.
Never said there was any restrictions, but you'd have to blatantly ignore the fact that people would rather garter LP for the better pvp ships, also being known for weaker stronger ships effects which side players like to side on. And my faceless part was that without a face the caldari seemed less "evil" but with the face was given more ammunition for the idealists to rage against something.

This what I was always also talking about how stronger racial ships gear people towards certain factions |
