Why not have it so each vote can only be counted if your character has over 3 hours of playtime. This way, if you REALLY like a guy for a part of CPM and you wanna be a scrub hen you gotta put in some work

I would say 100 hours playing time...

think about it. even a casual gamer that's 1 month.

playing for a month you should have an idea of who to vote for etc etc.

Pay to vote isn't a good fix or way of doing things. We need a free way to do it.

Paying accounts ( money or plex) not paying to vote. The game makes you pay to play so paying for a vote is the only way to have access to the game. There are no "free" accounts like on DUST.

one way or another you need to pay to vote, you might of played eve for 8 years, if you stop paying you lose your right to vote, and if you pay for 5 or 6 accounts you can vote 6 times that's pay to vote.

aurum seems like an equally valid method to gauge legit /active users by, if you combine that with time played in say the last 2 months, you got methods that should prevent/hinder people from creating 3 dozen accounts, which is the only issue with voting atm.

Yes, people buy plex with RL money and then sell them on the market. Pilots with ISK can then buy PLEX and use it to buy AUR or game time. Either way the PLEX is paid for with real money. But it doesn't matter how the account was funded as long as it has been active for 30 days so one character can vote. It is pay to vote because the game is pay to play. DUST is free to play and therefore we should not have to pay to vote.
