Is anyone thinking about running for CPM1? If so how should we vote on them? With free accounts I don't see how we can have a free and fair election. I am very curious to see how CCP plans to work this out. EVE is a paid subscription - either money or plex - and every one gets a vote. With the ability to make as many accouts as we want voter fraud will probably run rampant. Just been thinking about how it would work and would like to put it to the community for their views. in eve i'm a pirate. i'm all about pvp, and nothing more. i want to represent this community. letting a bunch of high-sec dwellers run the cpm is stupid.

I would like to see the MAC address used. I own two PS3s but at least it would limit me to two. Something will need to be done.

Those can be changed quite easily. They should use the console ID because to spoof that you need another ps3's console ID and a hacked ps3 (Which means the console will be banned pretty quickly by Sony)

I'm more curious for the nomination process.

You can easily spoof mac addresses, CPM will be won by goonfeet and subreddit, suprised you don't see people trying to get mittens elected.

Hell I might vote mittens if he was available, he's competent. You'd probably have to have a dust Acct to get in the CPM

The video of what was said. The apology on the forum. All people make mistakes especially when drunk, have power (real or not) and laughing with frineds. It isn't as bad as it seemed to be and with cyber bulling being such a hot topic at the time the outrage was a little much. It was made in while making fun a QQ post and I would bet that many of us have made or will make the same mistake.

Well yeah joking around with friends and stuff, thats fine, difference is he was on a live stream with sony developers in the auidence (the dust forum was right before the eve forum) That is what got ccp so pissed at him and made them remove him from the CSM.

there was absolutely nothing wrong with his presentation, it was during the Q&A where he told the persons name. The whole thing was completely overblown and wouldn't have been an issue had he not been The Mittani
