Give a side arm slot to Logistics, erase the light weapon slot, and increase the WP when the logistic supports the other.

More equipment slots, less high/low slots, more PG/CPU, and a sidearm slot.
This way a logi can go absolutely nuts with equipment of all sorts, even if it was all proto. And they at least have the bare minimum to defend themselves with a light weapon, sidearm and a few high/low slots. However without a ton of high/low slots like it is now, they can't HP tank like an assault player can. I only have 4 highs and lows at proto, don't touch my module slots. Not every logi uses them for tanking either. Ever heard of codebreakers? I don't play skirmish (unless a squad forces me into it or I am AFKing), so such a module is absolutely useless to me. And you don't touch your other modules? Base HP on suits is garbage unless you are a heavy. At least a few shield HP or armor is crucial IMO. You misread. I was saying leave my module slot layout alone. Minmatar only have 2/2, 3/3, and 4/4 slots across the tiers and I don't always fit for the highest buffer. My proto only has 600 HP. |

That way they can heal, AND disassemble enemy armor in a friendly CQC enviroment.
It's foolproof! They have a heal cap on us you idiot. Have you ever played as a logi? Every time we heal people ccp caps off our points. All because some stupid tryhard freaks decided to boost with our main way of making a living on this game. Screw any one that uses the rep tool for anything other than supporting the team. |

First and foremost this game is a FPS, there's not Geneva Convention in New Eden, everyone needs to be able to defend themselves. Except for the Amarr, which is meant to be an assault/logi hybrid, (Check the suit's description) the other logistics suits are pretty much set up for their role of support. Minmatar are a scout/logi hybrid, Gallente are capable of using the highest meta level equipment and Caldari was meant to be specialized in EWAR (what we don't have yet) from what I can assume as to why they have such a crazy module slot layout. The Caldari was abused at one time and the changes to the racial bonus resolved that issue. The other suits were fine and still are fine, pending any more buffs to the Amarr. (Still up in the air on that) If you can't kill a bright yellow suit that only has one weapon when you have two, the problem is on your end or that logi was a good player. Stop looking for free kills! I spent my SP on my logistics suit just like you spent yours on your assault. If something about your suit is underwhelming, then suggest ways to make it better, leave other people's suits alone or give me a respec so I can spec into Caldari assault with an AR since that seems to be the only way to be safe from this goddamned nerf witch hunt!
He is rather right guys, I mean, if you are usingnthe same weapon, what are you doing?
However Cosgar, consider my idea, you give the same pg/cpu as a assaults give all suits a better version of gallante equipment bonus so that
4-5 x EQ on logi == 1 x EQ on Assault
This way ccp, wont ever accidentally overpower the amarr suit and real logi users, such as yourself, wont actualky be effected, plus another bonus is being planned to give all equipment a logi runs an extra efficency bonus (apparently)!!
While you are here would like to look at some additional modules and equipment that would make a logi less of a medic??

I don't understand the Logi slot count myself, its in the ball park of 9-8 slots and 2-3 equipment, this effectively makes logis the best Alpha damage dealers in the game, ironically making logis the best snipers, while still having room to stealth tank just as well if not better than scouts. Also the medium frame and heavy frame ehp gap is laughable because the difference is closed in less than a second while the speed gap is noticeable, yet the speed gap between light frames and medium frames is almost nonexistent, the only thing that you can actually notice is a slight difference in the stamina pool.
I-Shayz-I wrote:The bonus of the logistics is versatility, not support
Assaults are much better killers than we are and the fact that we don't have a sidearm restricts our damage output enough.
Think of logistics as the jack of all trades. We can be quick and stealthy like scouts, tanky like heavies, rambo like assaults, or supportive with equipment. Even so, we can't be amazing at everything.
Is a true statement but you can choose your weakness and strengths when mimicking the other suits so effectively the logis suit is essentially the all in one package. They easily shadow scouts who unlike the heavy do not have specific items that are exclusively for them, which was the only saving grace for the heavy. |

Anyone complaining about logiassaults is just bad at this game.
It's like no one here has ever heard of combat support. Yes, I kill a lot but I also heal alot. I also die a lot because I still have less eHP than any assault suit. Enough with the QQ, get good. |
