More equipment slots, less high/low slots, more PG/CPU, and a sidearm slot.
This way a logi can go absolutely nuts with equipment of all sorts, even if it was all proto. And they at least have the bare minimum to defend themselves with a light weapon, sidearm and a few high/low slots. However without a ton of high/low slots like it is now, they can't HP tank like an assault player can. I only have 4 highs and lows at proto, don't touch my module slots. Not every logi uses them for tanking either. Ever heard of codebreakers? I don't play skirmish (unless a squad forces me into it or I am AFKing), so such a module is absolutely useless to me. And you don't touch your other modules? Base HP on suits is garbage unless you are a heavy. At least a few shield HP or armor is crucial IMO. You misread. I was saying leave my module slot layout alone. Minmatar only have 2/2, 3/3, and 4/4 slots across the tiers and I don't always fit for the highest buffer. My proto only has 600 HP.
I don't understand the Logi slot count myself, its in the ball park of 9-8 slots and 2-3 equipment, this effectively makes logis the best Alpha damage dealers in the game, ironically making logis the best snipers, while still having room to stealth tank just as well if not better than scouts. Also the medium frame and heavy frame ehp gap is laughable because the difference is closed in less than a second while the speed gap is noticeable, yet the speed gap between light frames and medium frames is almost nonexistent, the only thing that you can actually notice is a slight difference in the stamina pool.

Assaults are much better killers than we are and the fact that we don't have a sidearm restricts our damage output enough.
Think of logistics as the jack of all trades. We can be quick and stealthy like scouts, tanky like heavies, rambo like assaults, or supportive with equipment. Even so, we can't be amazing at everything.
Is a true statement but you can choose your weakness and strengths when mimicking the other suits so effectively the logis suit is essentially the all in one package. They easily shadow scouts who unlike the heavy do not have specific items that are exclusively for them, which was the only saving grace for the heavy. |
