I play as a logi and I cant tell how who to heal and when for the fact I cant see my team met heath bar any more I need to know who on my team needs reps and how much so I can keep them in battle longer. I don't need to see the enemy health bar until I aim at them but I need to see all friend health bar at a wider view instead of having to aim at them at least at a 45-60 degree angle for something like that that my job on the battle field and now I cant do I right please fix ccp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Logis need to keep posts like this at the top of the threads until the problem is fixed.There are more frum posts on this, please search for them and provide constructive criticism on them.
- Logis have NO CPM to represent them so we have to be more vocal about problems
- Our suit / equipment is broken once every update or two (needles)
- Support each other by posting on others threads before making a new one stating the exact same thing.

+1 at least Squad Members only... come on you have the colour green instead of blue on squad members, when you scan only your squad members see the pulsing red circles (which is very very nice must I add  ) you may aswell add the bars in too. |

You need to see them when carrying a tool or repairing hives or you will still never know if someone needs repairs because I don't run around with the repair tool out all the time.

And you can't even see any health through buildings, barriers or crates, it needs a complete visual sightline to show anything at all.
Fix this and do it quick! Even if it's just for those with triage equipment. |

I've been a logi even since i downloaded dust.
I can understand why you did this to clear up the HUD for assaults heavys etc.
But for logis it makes our job very hard to do while under fire.
I suggest you take a page out of the book of my favorite FPS MAG. on that game if you didn't have a medical kit equipped all you saw was the blue triangle, but if you did have a medkit you could see both your teams and and squads health bars. It worked great. |

Yes, please let us see who requires healing as easily as we could before - at least with my Core I can just randomly heal 2 people & double my chances of actually doing some good.

You seem to forget there are people with lives and other distractions and an option for the health bars is fair. You are making a statement about it being fair, then matchmaking should be a little more fair. When I first started dust I almost quit because I was getting thrown in with guys I couldn't put a dent in as well as getting 1 shot from a body shot constantly from a charge sniper rifle. So before you ask for something to keep the balance on something so trivial, start complaining about the lack of MM balance in the game period. |

Bump, In the heat of battle my squad don't think to call for reps when needed.
Its my job as a logi to keep an eye on my squads health and act accordingly, but I need this information which CCP has taken away from me.
And to make it worse when a squad mate calls for reps I don't know where they are, as there name-tags have been removed as well unless I'm very close to them. |

It would be easy to fit in the backstory... The repair tool itself transmits the health data to the HUD, without the tool eqipped you can't see health data.
On the other hand, we don't know what the thinking is behind eliminating the health data. I can see where it may add to game balance to have it removed. I don't like the change, primarily because it makes the game harder, but on the other hand, I like Dust because it takes more than good aim and a quick trigger finger to play it.
...oh wait...then there's the aim assist, disastrous affect on logi's or anyone who has to estimate in their aiming such as mass driver spec'd logi's. They nerfed the MD without nerfing it.

for sure i did like the old health bar system. please bring it back. i think the most essential job for a sniper is to keep enemy lines small and you cant figure out who has the most health. Also ive seen logis running around healing random people because they dont know. one healed me for a while when i was full health. and i have no idea what he percentages represent. |

That's a big NO, I want to see the health-bars while holding my gun, you know for those situations where it might be better to first shoot a red dot and quickly switch to your repair tool...and other situations.
and not repair tool - weapon - repair tool.

At the very least, show health with in your suits scanner range friendly and enemy. Every one should be able to see their squad mates health ALL THE TIME at ANY RANGE.
I can see adding a bonus to repair tools making the wielder able to see ALL FRIENDLY health bars. There should be some bonus to using a repair tool if CCP is going to keep some incarnation of the current version.
If they want to revert it, that could work too, but Im for something in between the two. |

Allied HP bars have always been hidden when you are sniping properly cause your allies are quite a ways off. I'm a sniper and I loved all the health bars... of course I repp'd and tank on the side.. but mostly snipe.
When I repair I want to know WHO and WHERE someone is who needs health.
So if the allied health bars are intended to be hidden, they need to be visible via proximity to someone using a repair tool! |
