Once again all of you are making false claims of why we use tanks, whether it be "to buff up your K/Dr", "show up as highest on the leaderboards", "never die", etc etc, iv seen many many false claims from infantry as to why we skill into tanks.

These are the reasons:

1. We are tired of the same old FPS bull that we see in nearly every single game weve ever played, skilling into vehicles gives us excitement of something new being offered to us.

2. It is far more challenging than using a gun, we want a little bit of a challenge but not to where we don't enjoy tanking at all (we are at that point).

3. The income we get from destroying other vehicles with our own is greater than that of killing infantry, we don't really care about getting infantry kills unless they are using AV.

4. We love the thrill of going against other vehicle pilots and colliding with our fittings and skills to see who is superior and where we can adjust to get better.

5. The vehicle battles are awesome to be part of, I love it when I have other tankers on my team and we fight against enemy tankers through the match, its MUCH more fun than just killing infantry.

6. We like to use the biggest weapons in the game to how we like them.

7. Its new, it should be exciting.

8. This is not meant to be a normal boring old FPS like COD, BF or Halo.

9. We like to be different, we don't want to follow the crowd and use what literally everyone uses all the time.

10. Diversity.

11. We just love to blow things up.

please actually read these reasons why we skilled into tanking in the 1st place and understand that you are completely wrong as to why we role with vehicles.

These are definitely my reasons for skilling into tanks. I may share some of the reasons with other tankers, but I know these aren't the only reasons also. so any other tankers that want to give their reasons please do.

COD/Halo are crap but BF has some pretty intense vehicle combat, hell Bad Company 2 still has the best vehicle combat

I dont think anybody needs a reason to spec into vehicles, they are cool and useful but recently the amount of bs about them and AV on the forums is getting a bit much.

Those might very well be reasons for you but still you tankers are superior to infantry and there`s no point crying over AV when you go over 20/0 in majority of matches.It is VERY rare for me or anybody really to solo kill one of you so stop already.

i think you should open your eyes when you read the scoreboard and probably never try going av again as well. it clearly isnt your strong suit.

So how about sharing some of your kill/deaths so you can enlighten me?

stop trying to compare vehicles to dropsuits, it wont work. vehicles are NOT dropsuits.

yet in those games, you don't put personal investment into anything other than infantry stuff, in this game you put personal investment into EVERYTHING.

no entirely, although the best anti-vehicle weapon should be a vehicle mounted weapon, but that's besides the point im making. your posts are not constructive whatsoever, please go elsewhere.

also, Lurchasaurus just report his posts until its deleted, I don't want any negative comments here, this thread it just to give reasons why we tank. nothing more.

ill keep the negativity out, but i dont need to report his posts. its too easy to dismiss them with logic. that helps us more than simply erasing a post because other people can see him being wrong.
