It has about 2,000 shields and can have more than 50% resistance. One time someone in my chat channel ran over me in a Charybdis and he said that it had 77% resistance. Are you kidding me? This means that proto swarms would only do the damage of 1.5 swarms, so about 495 HP dmg. I've been told that the Limbus can't take more than a few forge shots, and even before then it's not as hard to take out as a Charybdis. This is the REAL nurder taxi problem. It needs to have reduced shield resistance so that swarms can actually affect it. Discuss. |

Nope.
The game needs more anti-shield AV.
(Once shield tanks/DSes are balanced of course)
All AV we have now is armour based.

Get out.
I do agree with anti-shield AV, but the Charybdis needs to be nerfed. The shield resistance makes it almost impossible to take out. |

I'll agree that the Charybdis is somewhat over powered, but the only changes I would suggest would be a 15-20% decrease in speed and acceleration (meaning that they can't get away very fast, plus need some time to get to ramming speed) and actually making it a logistics LAV (fixing the repair module, adding different chassis for more passengers or a mobile supply depot, etc.).
Besides, it's a shield vehicle. Swarms shouldn't do crap to it anyway. |

It takes 3 REs for me to kill a Limbus, its not hard.
Imagine if we had Flux REs or Proximities.
I do drive a Charybdis, I do have SP invested into AV.
If you haven't driven a Charybdis, and for some reason think you can comment on how it should be balanced, then maybe you should get out. |

Besides, it's a shield vehicle. Swarms shouldn't do crap to it anyway. They should at least be able to make the driver try to get away. The way it is now, it can get hit from forge guns, swarms, railguns, etc. and will have nothing to worry about and just keep running people over. If the game is supposed to be balanced, then why is there a vehicle that is so difficult to destroy? It can take more shots than a tank to take out with advanced level swarms, it should not be like that. |

Less Turret Damage. You gain no WP for using it as a Logi vehicle.
Its only advantage is its ability to run people over while going at slow speeds, and the fact that every AV Weapon in the game is Armour based.

Nobody uses it for the turret or the Logi reps. Except for Salo, but i've only ever seen him try it once. How often do you see a blueberry driving around in a Charybdis with a gunner? Unless they're in a squad. Most people just death taxi with it and it's almost impossible to destroy. |

And the role the LLAV was designed for doesn't reward us with WP.
And Swarm Launchers are Armour based, if it was a Limbus it'd be an entirely different story. |

Maybe you should've read what I wrote earlier. With 77% resistance, PROTO swarms would only do about 495 dmg to a Charybdis. Not sure about with mods, but it would still take more than three volleys. |

Uh.. It's already pretty weak when it is used for the actual LOGI purposes. There just needs to be way less incentive for it to be used for other than LOGI purposes. |
