WHY are you waiting for gamescom, which is like 10 days before release (Which means they can't reverse anything by now), to tell us about what could potentially be a terrible update? What if some of the things there makes the community go nutz? You should have told us everything by now. Heck EVE Odyssey 1.1 ALREADY GOT 10 DEV BLOGS (Might be more, 10 was last time I checked). Is this the same company we're talking about?

Must. Resist. Urge. To Like. Dang it, temptation took over. Liking it. Anyways, 10 days is actually not bad considering that the last patch notes for 1.3 came out about 10-14 days before release. I don't see it as a big deal. However, I'm not sure if announcing the details at a big event on a game this young and incomplete is such a good idea. CCP, I hope you fixed a lot of things with this next update and I hope you added more content. And by more content I mean more UNIQUE maps, more UNIQUE surface infrastructures, more UNIQUE game modes (please bring back skirmish 1.0) new dropsuits and weapons, etc.

Is this the same company we're talking about? Yet another whistle blower. Good for you! You realize that whats in the update is likely already hard locked right? No matter how bad it "could be" its going to go through. 10 days before the release? If im not mistaken that's way earlier then when were used to getting patch info, so in my opinion good on them. What if its a potentially terrible update? What if it makes the community go nutz? If that sort of philosophy was used in real life nothing would ever get done. Stop being so pessimistic and get excited for an update that will hopefully improve the game overall.

That doesn't mean that there is a special event at GamesCom, but that GamesCom seems to be a trigger for something related to Dust. My money is on CCP deciding it has spent enough money, and decided to fire Shanghai.
