Dust 514.
Even with all its flaws there's no other game I'd rather play at the moment, I'm not sure whether it's the community or PC. I've never quite played a game where I'm checking the forums on a hourly basis.
All in all good job CCP, looking forward to what goodies 1.4 bring us.

i would like to apologize i can't resist.
that's great admitting it is the first step in overcoming this. just know that its ok to like a game that 90% of its player base hates it may shock you but.......i was there once too like all of you good people i too enjoyed dust it was the first FPS i had played in forever i liked the customization the lore and many other things about the game.
now remember if you wish to remain playing this game there's power in pride so i want you too just let it out and say "im a mercenary and i am proud"
now lets work on curing your addiction now how i was cured was a friend of mine realized my problem in reached out to help me im going to suggest the same treatment he did for me (for the sake of not being banned this treatment shall have a code name) this cure is best friends 3 or BF3 for short.
step 1 - go to the nearest store that sells video games ask them if they have BF3 the clerk should understand what you mean if he/she asks you if you would like to purchase BF3 respond in a way saying that you are a person in need of awesomeness the response "SHUT UP AnD TAKE MY MONEY" should do nicely
step 2 - also purchase one or two PSN cards to buy the various DLC for best friends 3.
i hope this guide on how to cure your dust addiction helps you all and hopefully we can put a stop to this addiction in the future. |

We've all earned the right to be cynical as f***.
If you loathe yourself for secretly liking DUST take some well intentioned advice: get out before the real connections to New Eden are made, because by then you're finished, you'll be ruined forever. And you'll end up sounding like a New Eden fanboy.
Assuming CCP doesn't send DUST down the poophole, that is.

lol I feel the same way. I do get frustrated with the game's flaws, and CCP's misfits sometimes, but i still play it.
Every other game I'll play, and it entertains me for a month or so, then just leave. With Dust, I can't leave.

Even with all its flaws there's no other game I'd rather play at the moment, I'm not sure whether it's the community or PC. I've never quite played a game where I'm checking the forums on a hourly basis.
All in all good job CCP, looking forward to what goodies 1.4 bring us.
You need some ***** mate if you are addicted to Dust. You need that release to clear your head out ! |

Honestly........this is sad and part of the reason why the games have in general gone down hill. When a dev can make a game that is pretty bad and still get fanbois who think its amazing and play it all the time....you know that games in general have taken a nose dive in quality. Very few games meet the amazing quality similar to the Last of Us....but honestly games as well made as the Last of Us should be the standard. But alas....too many people are easily pleased and would probably consider a game where you pick out a wedgie to be unique and great fun.. |

What is sad is that a few of you no marks still clutter this already full forum about a game you hate and claim to have quit.
Go be "l337" somewhere else, never played a full team of imps but from the sounds of it 4K you ain't.

By my own definition I must say I am addicted to Dust, since it keeps me from playing several other AAA games I have in my catalogue. However, it's not because of some blind sense that everything is fine and dandy, but more out of fascination of a company which (with their first PS3, and console game to boot) tries to make their own niche in a quite literally overcrowded market.
Worth to note is that I play casually, don't grind (newer reached the cap...ever), and generally have a life (with wife and kids) outside gaming.
Honestly, have you ever played a console shooter which level you up when not playing ;-) |

I've got the last of us, yea graphics, sounds, voice acting and story are awesome, but the gameplay......... After 5 minutes I get bored, it's the same thing, stealth around, picking up random weapons. I can't complete it because it bores me to death. Maybe it's the amount of stealth games I've played in the past, maybe I've been spoiled by Mp.
