What kind of settings would you choose?
Here's an example form to give you an idea or two. Go ahead and copy / paste this form and fill it out or create your own. Be creative!
Final note: I know, personally, I'd love to offer a huge playlist of maps; but for the sake of making this easier, lets just pretend its one map only and if you want to go through the trouble of listing several maps with unique options on each... go right ahead. :D

This is a bad idea. It would just be servers where people would make it easy to farm. I.E.
Tankers would take, out all AV weapons and kill infantry non stop. Then when another tanker showed up they could just boot them.
Also, we are all on the Tranquility server. |

Yes I know people could farm and play the system, I'm more interested in what people most want in regards to settings. This is more about what would make the current gamemodes more fun and not about actually owning a server.
Note: I presented this thread this way because it is a familiar format that is easy for people to participate in, again I don't actually want custom servers in game, I just want more variety in gamemodes. |

The central server cross references data to ensure that any information received by the server from the client is consistent with what the server sees. This prevents lag switchers and hackers from ever having any effect on the game. |

Okay already, yes I know what you're saying. I know already...this is about getting input on what settings people would like to see. Overall, this is a way of seeing how to improve the gamemodes. I already changed the title, and already put disclaimers in the main post...what more do you want! |

Server ownership will never be an option to where the owner will be granted admin privileges enough to alter the game settings Also I don't think its feasibly possible without having to replicate ALL other servers required from persona, sol, terra, CREST, the one that manages inventory of every spot in space bunch of other stupid little things.
Now design your own game mode however... is an entirely different suggestion. |

Neat idea for a thread!
I could go through all the options, but my dream-mode on this game is quite simple.
Ambush non-OMS 80 clones No-squads No-vehicles No-orbitals (just in case players squad up after matching) Players from same corp are split up evenly across each team Supply-depot drops but no installations
Also for ambush I really hate the huge maps, wish they would have more maps that were smaller and more confined (but not too confined; some tight areas, some open areas). |

Again, I like the ones I didn't think of.
Changing weapon damage and movement speed would change the game so much.
I'd probably try a mode where all the weapons are a quarter as strong. It would be very hard for anyone to get a kill and would make things more interesting as far as trying to take an objective. |

Aside from all the idiots who didn't understand the intent of this post it has some great potential. Keep at it Laz, you're gonna have the coo coo's who want to leave vehicles in but remove av nades and swarms (obviously haven't tired killing a charbdis on manus peak where you just drive in circles around the mountain by charlie all the way past bravo mowing people in the vicinity.
I gotta match here in ten minutes, but after that I'l be back to give ya my preference for a game mode. |

So far, of the people that have given their own gamemode, people are tending towards making orbitals harder to get or gone entirely. Also most have opted for friendly fire being on and to have teamkills autokick you. Inactivity kicks are popular so far too.
I'd love to see more ideas, I'm sure there are some great ones just waiting to be posted.
What about gamemodes for squad vs squad? |
