so we all know about 1.4 and 1.5
that would mean we've gone 5 month without a new version though.
we know the 1.X are mostly small tweaks to existing content, with dribbles on new content, but the versions are supposed to be where the big things are, like over hauls to the skill system, new game modes, and other additions to the game.
I like the monthly updates but I do hope a new version is on the way.
as a rough estimate i'm probably around 3-4 thousand games of ambush/domination......I'm definitely looking for something new.
PLEASE, PLEASE don't do another art fix, if you try that again I think my draw distance might be 40m. |

Wasn't there supposed to be small updates every month and a big one every ~6 months? Or am I just imagining things...? |

Other games release new "versions" once a year. I think you're jumping the gun a bit. |

CCP LogicLoop mentioned some content arriving in Uprising 1.7 which should be around late November. Today in IRC CCP Nullarbor mentioned getting most the planning done for updates throughout the rest of the year, meaning there could very well be a Uprising 1.8 at the very end of the year too.
My bet is then sometime around the 1 year anniversary of Open Beta we will finally be out of Uprising and into something new and start all over in the 1.X updates. |

I was going to make a post with a really long 1.99999-etc to show that CCP can keep us on the current build as long as they like, but my iPad kinda crashed when I tried to post it, so here we go. |

eh, i'm used to most mmo having a 3-4 month update plan.
that said those games tend to have alot more content then dust has, so I would of expected them to put a rush on a new game mode or something.
of course i've been around logn enough to know expecting anything from dust is silly. |

I'd imagine that Dust will now follow the pattern CCP have established with Eve:-
* A new named release every 6 months ("Chromosome", "Uprising", etc.)
* The new content in the release arriving over two or three point releases (Uprising 1.0, 1.1, 1.2)
* Additional point releases for tweaks and bug fixes (1.3, 1.4, 1.5)
