I think the current "distance to target" display on the nanite injector icon over fallen teammates is unnecessary - you either see the fallen teammate or an obstruction, knowing that the teammate is on the other side.
Instead, why don't we make the icon show time remaining until clone death? That way medics won't waste their time running to people only to have them bleed out just as they arrive. |

The distance is actually beneficial - an added part to that would be a visual bar that drops down in red showing how close they are to clone termination. |

If we can have both, that'd be better... but if I had to pick one or the other, I'd prefer bleed out time over distance. It always activates within <35 meters anyway. |

Just off the top of my head perhaps a different radical, A small hollow circle that fills with colour/color when your closer to the person bleeding out, I guess it could change color when in stabbing range.
I don't know any additional information that would really be needed. |

Is there anything else other Logibros feel they would like on the HUD with regards to nanite injectors? If i could be done without cluttering the UI an indicator showing what percentage of the users tank is armor, or what numeric value is armor would allow for more tactical choices when reviving players in an area that may not be 100% secure. Being able to choose the 700 armor heavy for a revive rather than the 80 armor scout makes a lot of sense if there are rounds being put down field at you.
Another option, and perhaps the best one if there are no tech barriers, would be to show the total armor HP at which the merc will be revived. This gives direct tactical information for the logi as well as an extra incentive to run better injectors for your teammates. If this information could also somehow be communicated to the downed merc that would be ideal but may post too much of a technical problem to be freezable at this point (I'd love it if this made its way into game at some point however because then downed mercs could make a clear choice based on their tactical awareness of the situation, it becomes "I'll be up at X armor Y distance from cover and there are two hostile ARs nearby" as opposed to "there are two hostile ARs nearby, kitten it I'm taking the bleed out").

Is it possible to outline downed clones? So if they go down and are in your squad they are green and those not in your squad are blue. This in conjunction with distance and time to bleed out read outs for logis would help a lot with triage. |

This is a good point. If my squad mate is downed I would love to kn0w how far he is. for the off chance I am in a vehicle and get to him quick.
Also from a victim point of view I would like a skill to help prolong the Bleedout time. This, I think, will help lots of people out because it will lengthen the wait time and probability of being revived. I think a 20% bleedout time per level is good for a total of 1 minute of bleedout time. Plenty of time for friends to clear an area and pick you back up. |

This.
Any information that aids in target identification would be very welcome.
I personally would like to see names.

A good add would be an accept button for the downed teammate continuing off the original counter would help the mercs who want to switch suits anyway and theres no depots. Would help against the nanite abusers to who revive you six times with two of there friends killing you with melees. |

If you have multiple fittings with different injectors on each, might be nice to see the efficiency of your currently equipped nanite injector when equipped (like weapon efficiency). |

Is there anything else other Logibros feel they would like on the HUD with regards to nanite injectors? Both would be good, as long as its not too cluttered. I think the blinking at the end works well to show the status of the clone death, and maybe slow blink > faster > fastest would be the way to go.
And if I can speak on behalf of ALL the Logibros out there, please do not change the HUD to only show targets that you're actively aiming/firing at. It will be EXTREMELY difficult to be able to prioritize healing targets without the ability to see them all at once.

If i had to choose i would like the timer instead of range as already stated that you only see the icons within 35 meters of the body. BUT BOTH IS BEST !!!
ugg reset wrote:I would like to be able to see downed teammates form the seats of vehicles. ^^ dam dam would also be a really really nice improvement !! BABU !! get out of the waaayy ambulance coming through !! (People flying all over the place as LLAVs moow people down)
I don't think it can get much better regarding the needle UI next thing to look at would then be needle bonuses on revival <-- So that you will get back up and think "YES !! someone saved me !!" instead of "DAMMIT !! whyyy why did you stab me :( (dead)" as it is right now mostly. |
