I enjoy piloting, what I don't enjoy is flying around and getting hit by an installations both manned/unmanned and even occasionally falling out of the ***** sky. You make my ADS cost around 1,000,000 ISK, you then make me weak as ** and then you remove just normal Ambush from the que, and have it randomly appear alongside OMS. Unmerge it you backwards fucks. Unfortunately, I understand the merge was based on the pure numbers necessary to impliment their desired matchmaking system without making people wait 5 minutes for a match... and apparently there were not enough numbers to support both modes. I agree about missiles- they were the only small turrets that worked properly. Dropships just made them look OP.

The changes aren't that big of a deal. 30 clones is an extra 2-4 minutes playing. and installations can be taken out by a half decent forger. Maybe not supply depots but still.

Actually I do quite well solo in a Dropship, I enjoy taking things easy and getting one or two kills, as I run an Assault Dropship I can actually kill people, but I rarely go close and when I do it's because I have money to buy another. So what really fucks me off is the Installations dropping in on me, it's ridiculous. It's not about the dropship anyways, what it is about is I don't enjoy OMS, I enjoyed just running regular Ambush matches as it fitted my style of play. NOBODY asked for a merge, CCP are always making backwards choices and probably consist of dumb fucks such as yourself :) kthxbye. You know how much money I get for a match doing what I'm doing in an OMS? about 120-160k. A single dropship costs 1 Mil, at the highest amount I've been getting just cruising and killing the occasional sniper, I need to survive 6-7 matches to break even. Now I'm flying something that even a gust of wind can kill, so take into the fact I'm not just cruising anymore, I'm flying about dodging Swarms and Forges because some mugs want easy points and they know it's easy. So it's very likely I'm going to lose money. As a Dropship Pilot, I do better in Normal Ambushes As a Tanker, I do better in Skirmish/Domination matches As a LAV Driver, I am the best at every mode. See my problem is I don't want to just Tank every game, nor do I want to run scrubs over repeatedly, but I will until I'm nerfed so I can actually make some money. TBH, you can't blame the turrets for doing their darn jobs, especially when Railgun Installations bug all the time and blasters have real short lock on range unless they're aggressed. If you don't see them, or expect them not to defend, it's your fault.

Death-by-falling installation is just something that needs to be addressed like getting hit by an RDV. Otherwise, we need the 2 game modes together. Ambush OMS needed more vehicles, but drivers preferred the other ambush because they didn't need to worry about turrets and supply depots. I never really played normal ambush, but I have a feeling it needed more AVers, and legit scouts had nothing to do because the fights had no rhyme or reason- installations give players an objective to center the battle around.
