I dunno, you are proud of being a pothead but what you say has merit. You really have let it go though, relax mang. People can Q.Q if they want, it is sad that they will likely get your favorite weapon nerfed. If you think about it though, what did you really lose? An imaginary firearm in a videogame. MDs are by far the 2nd most used weapon right now.
Its only a matter of time before they are the first.

If they are SO balanced and so fair, and aren't as effective as people say, then why is their use on the rise?

Only a matter of time? ARs have more than double the amount of usage compared to any weapon in the game, Dust will be long dead before the MD catches up.

Wrong (which I'm starting to see is quite usual for you). Of the 30 people in matches. About 15 are AR users, 10 are MDs, and the rest are HMGs, Shotguns, or Snipers.

Next time you're in a match, just sit in the MCC and study the kill feed.
Then I also want you to study the top 5 players for each team, and remember what weapon they were using.

The only reason AR is most used is because its on all the Starter Fits, and its familiar for crossover players. Nobody has ever head of a Mass Driver, Plasma Cannon, Scrambler Rifle before, so they start with the AR (just as you did). It takes time to transition, and for the community to adapt, but once someone gets killed by the same thing enough, they say "If you can't beat them, join them".
Look at the Flaylock. Nobody used that thing when it was put into the game, than slowly, gradually, then all at once people exploited it.
The MD will pass up the AR, if its not nerfed, in about 2 months at most.

Stop complaining that the one thing scrub players found that actually makes them better than what they are is being taken away from them. Nobody misses the Flaylock, nobody would miss the MD.
