Something having a difficult/niche use is no excuse for it being -too awesome-. There's a fine line between rewarding weapons that highly rely on player skill and making those weapons too powerful. CCP crossed it here, in my humble opinion. The current uncharged /old charged damage is fine-as it. But It'd honestly rather they revert to the old method and make the uncharged swipes do less damage. These things should mostly be swung when not charged as a follow-up to a charged attack if it doesn't quite kill someone. They shouldn't be a OHK-opener you can use without charging and still have such a great effect.

I liked to think I properly displayed how broken they were at Fanfest when I was given the chance to 1v1 a couple CCP dudes in a closed room, and not only annihilated them, but the innocent spectators (who were using guns, and included the rest of the CPM) as well which later tried to join in to assist the CCP guys. However, they left the knives with their doubled power anyways, and as hilarious as they are right now... I do think they're too strong, but not by a lot. All that's left to say is : Come get some! Don't stress too much about 'proof'. I'll gladly give kudos and public props to anyone that manages to knife me :)

If assassination mean killing of just one clone - it's not true assassination. There has to be some value attached to it. There has to be some real loss that the target takes - like a certain isk value lost from the vallet or loss of an implanted booster. I am not sure how to implement this in the game though. However, without this it would be just hollow role palying.

They were formidable enough before CCP decided to double their damage out of nowhere. The damage listed in the show info screen used to be their actual damage, now it's four times that on a charged attack where both swipes hit.

I would love to see him against Mr Musturd. Nova Knife would definitely be crying for a knife nerf after that asswhoopin. I agree. now weapon switching is broken, or i end up with my AR and knives out at the same time an dI have to switch back and forth to fix it. I can't say whether those bugs or the team chat tab not populating bug is the most annoying BFotM. I am having a hard time sprinting sometimes as well. like button presses plain don't register.
