moral decisions in battles,i mean players would occasionaly do toughf choices. For example you see enemy heavy machine gunner just going to position to attack your corp/team mates, and you are position to eliminate heavy but there are civilians running front of line of fire and there is no time to move better position. So would you shoot hmg and same time killing civilians or saving civilians by moving better position but losing time to save your mates. So what people think if ccp added moral decisions? |

It would simply go as with capsuleers why should an immortal care for the mortals...what happens in space would continue on the ground dead civilians everywhere.
But I would like to see choices in FW matter right now FW battles are just normal skirmishes where I have to wait longer ... |

Wtf are the civilians doing in the middle of a battlefield? Picking daisies? What online competitiive FPS would do something like that? Seriously though waste of time in PVP, maybe in the PVE element it might work. |

Go play Eve if you want to be a mass murderer. Ships are crewed up to 10k per battleship and they're not pod pilots either. So near full compliment of folks.
Also... you're probably made from dozens of different dead people already. Biomass begets biomass, people recycling is quite common in New Eden. |

I've been thinking too that there should be civilians that are busy evacuating. Each murder would be -100 WP and an ISK fine. At the beginning of the match you'd hear sirens and see people leaving but soon after the field would be clear. Not all facilities would be surprised though. |

This idea made me giggle . Tgis would be a cool idea in faction warfair and would be cool to read about 100s of civilian deaths at the hands of immortal mercs when defending or attacking factionally controlld districts. |

I can see people saving the civilians but then they (civilians) would be gunned down by someone else just for the kicks and the savior would most likely die with them.
As for penalizing player from shooting the civilians, I would gladly use them as a meatshields, as would pretty much everyone else :D

Security Dispersion: In high security space, killing a civilian nets you -50 wp and a security status loss. Once your security status is below -0.5 (after killing lots of civies) you are no longer immune to friendly fire in high-sec pub matches. Once your security falls below -0.8 you may no longer participate in high-security Pub matches until your standing improves (via PVE).
But, penalties are no fun, so positives are a better route imo: The a portion of the isk pay-out is determined by the number of surviving civilians at the end of the match for both teams (as typically the attacking corporation wanted the facility and its staff). But, there could be modes where the attackers want to eliminate all the civilians, each civilian giving bonus pay-out at the end of the match. Perhaps there is a mode where the defenders are eliminating the civilians, but the attackers are trying to save them, netting differing payouts for both teams.

Ok what if you make decision to shoot hmg and kill civilians doing so,but after many years there will be rise of military/politician/terrorist leader, who start massive killings and destruction upprising against your faction/corporation/race.And this person is eventuality responsible 10 000 or 100 000 people getting killed and town`s and cities getting erased from maps. And only reason this is happening is this person did see you shooting hes/hers parents in this incident.I think things like this should be added to this game when pve comes. But maybe i am hoping too much and im sure ccp dont add things like this to dust. But i think also that little things like this would bring role-playing elements in this game and there would be strategy aspect also, people would have really consider their actions. |

you remind me of an old movie where humanity has a population control that leads to food shortages and the Gov discovers a near unlimited amount of edible food at the bottom of the ocean, up until the people realize the food is chopped up criminals and "necessary losses"..... oh and the Matrix |

You are right ofcourse, however it is amusing. So murder is ok sometimes but not others? Its ok to maim and kill one 'type' of human but not another.
Have to laugh at ridiculous laws and ideas. |
