What July 30th nerf? Are you talking about the REs disappearing when you deploy them? |

I'd like to see stuff like sentry turrets and anti personnel mines. Make them both based on picking up scanning signature so scouts can be more useful as counters to them. EWAR modules that jam radars and scramble comms would be nice too. |

Proximity mines tend to work reasonably well in my experience regarding vehicles, mostly LAV's. LLAV's typically won't get destroyed but a well laid trap will usually at least kill the driver. |

I actually saw a proximity mine in the kill feed today, first time in months I've seen one. Made me laugh that someone actually died to one. |

I used to open battles by laying out proximity mines when we had free LAVs. Everyone complained about murder taxis, I sat back and collected free kills. LLAVs were a pain, you had to use well timed REs for those. Damn things are as sturdy as tanks should be. |

Lol no, chances of proxies killing driver/passenger are about 1/80. Trust me, I've been using those a lot.
You can kill driver far better with flux or contact nades.
Proxies do not work reasonably well. Their detonation behavior is far too random. And even IF they detonate, their damage is beyond abysmal.

Yeah, two days ago I had a mine trap of 11 mines (all ADV and PRO) and a charyb drove thru. Now usually proxies won't do damage because they don't detonate. Well this time 9 out of 11 DID detonate! The result? Charybdis continued with 80% armor. Hopeless. |

i'd really love to a deploy AA missile emplacement that prevent RDV coming as well as grave robbering droids that get more loot at the end. or at least suicide drones. you know a flame thrower mine would be cool to, wide range and long damage over time but low damage. |

I will agree, my proxies usually don't kill LLAVs, but when they do, they kill like four in a game. Its surprising how many LLAV drivers think they are immortal in their vehicles, it just takes some very good proxies, patience, some stupidity, and maybe an "easy" roadkill target. They blow up just the same, actually better than tanks, since they are usually traveling faster than tanks. Less reaction I suppose.
Also, to stay more on topic, I think portable sentry turrets would be great. Make them more of a nuisance than a deadly item. Make better ones able to stick to walls and ceilings, you could have so many variations, ones that self repair, ones with more ammo, sticky ones, laser, explosive, oh, maybe ones that don't do damage but instead heal teammates. |

I know, hence why HAVs at a slower pace usually hit few proxies. I've used all forms of explosives since April, first thing I put points into when Uprising hit, and on the next respec as well. Curious if they will ever give the Boundless RE it's increased blast radius like it used to have... A guy can dream. |

I think a laser mine would be interesting.
You'd deploy one side, then the other, then it would deploy if the two sides were within so many feet of each other. Then if somebody walked between them, it would cut them in half. (do 250 HP damage) |

Would higher levels do more damage, have a longer 'attach' range for setup, or both? |

(do 250 HP damage) I'm still waiting for those flux proximity explosives I saw on the items list to make an appearance. Would allow for some interesting trap set ups and might finally make the chary respect PE's again. |

Selecting takes longer, tossing takes longer, activation longer, deploying mor than one longer, supply depot doesn't always fill, detonation at death hardly works now, also button detonation takes longer an the radius is also different.

how about an new grenade that acts like an bouncing betty, it will deploy where you throw it, then wait till someone with an Sig runs by then fly up and release an plasma charge in an 360 circle around it for maybe 4 meters. higher levels will have slightly higher damage and/or range. |
