i tried them, didnt like them, then again i didnt invest much time/SP in to them, i think we need more forge gunners as spider tanking tanks become more prolific, but be warned forge guns arnt as good anti-personnel weapons now

A few tips, squad up with a couple of logi guys they are under appreciated if they revive you then you dont make a loss AV grenades, kill a tank you are in the money spend money where it counts ie gun and shields, the rest go for free stuff sp...
