Don't you mean Mkitten Drivers?
Anyway, they're nothing like forge guns. They are your average grenade launcher and are used as anti infantry. |

i tried them, didnt like them, then again i didnt invest much time/SP in to them, i think we need more forge gunners as spider tanking tanks become more prolific, but be warned forge guns arnt as good anti-personnel weapons now |

They can be nice, especially vs groups, takes alot of getting used to. |

I'd use them more if there was a militia variant, though I find them to be great fun. You NEED a nanohive with them though, they're ammo hogs. They're excellent vs any kind of scout, and they're fun if the enemy team has a tendency to stick close together. The aiming is a tad weird and takes a bit to get used to, and getting direct hits can be tricky on anything other than a heavy.
I actually find them to be cool weapons, and effective ones at that, once you start skilling into them and getting the better drivers. I use them on my scout suit (when I do decide to use them) and I just harass the crap out of my enemies ^_^ |

I didn't get much of a chance to use them last build, and haven't touched them in this one. From my limited experience, they seemed to work best from an elevated position to harass groups protecting objectives. Hard to get kills with, but you can soften up a bunch of guys at once and do some limited area denial.
We'll be seeing much more of them as teamwork evolves and the explosion physics are perfected. (They seem to be affected by the same dud bug as regular grenades, and it seems to be worse on uneven terrain.) |

I haven't used them this build. I used them last build and skilled up to L4. I was kind of underwhelmed, but will likely try them again. It definitely disperses stationary herds...
Hit detection was wonky, aiming was difficult (for me) at the weapons mid-range. Close and far seemed ok. |

They are assist machines. Practically useless if you are not grouped up. Direct hits are very hard to master. As mentioned you will need a nano hive or two. They are wicked mean from high ground but once again killing is hard, assisting easy. It is a very tough gun not to make overpowered. They probably have it good.
It will take a lot to kill scouts...once again the splash damage is not amazing...we are taking 3 or 4 or more splash to kill them. You will never hit a jumping bunny scout directly. |

tried them....still puttin SPs into them seems good for a support/area control weapon to soften ppl up but hit detection again needs to be fixed |

Best description of them yet. I've strictly used mass drivers since the E3 build came out and I love them. Can be effective but most people I ask tried it a couple times and quickly gave up. |

you can solo targets with mass drivers once you get use to them, but its very easy to suck with them because they fire in an arc and the sights and cross-hairs are all but useless forcing you to just know angle and distance at a glance. The round doesn't move super fast either so at long range you need to project your target a few seconds into the future. Trying to get direct hits against non vehicles is all but imposable at any real range so don't bother. That said if you can overcome the difficulties with using the weapon you can soften up groups of people very easily and once you are reliably hitting vehicles you can take on LAV and Dropships hitting them hard enough to either kill them or force a retreat. HAVs can be dealt some good damage by mass drivers, not all at once. This isn't a dedicated AV weapon, but a direct hit should deal full damage to an HAV so if you can hit it its likely to take notice unless its a super high quality tank. That said at those ranges your better tossing down a nano hive and spamming AV nades at HAVs. |

Let's just say that you'll get a ton of assists. |
