Couple more ideas for immersion. When you reload, your character looks at their weapon. When you climb ladders, the camera moves appropriately and you can see your hands climbing the ladder. And when you drive LAVs, you can see your hands turning ...

Back at Fanfest this year, CCP did say that the maps you will be fighting on will affect your gameplay. For example, if you're fighting on a snowy map, your weapon will take longer to overheat.

Few months ago, there was a map where you could see a crashed Titan in the distance. It was part of the Battle for Caldari Prime event. I wish they had kept that map because it looked awesome.
