This happens quite often with the terrain. The only solution is either suicide or call in an LAV (or have a team mate call in an LAV). If you can get the LAV close enough, you can enter the vehicle and ta-da! You are saved! :D

OP, don't expect too much teamwork from the blue dots, you'll only be rewarded with severe disappointment. Try squading with an organized corp and you'll see that the game play is much different.
