I started playing on the original black slim PS3 and recently picked up the White 500gb (super slim i guess) I haven't gotten any noticeable "frame rate drop" then what has been there since the start of alpha'ish... Not sure what you are talking ...

Wait 0-100 so you're using the mouse and keyboard, because the only time I experience slow turning is when using the mouse the controller is pretty quick on turning once you adjust X,Y sensitivity...
