Let us select to auto skip the intro movie if we have seen it once, don't need to see it every time I log in. |

Yes, you are correct sir! We don't need to see it every time we log in. That's why we press the start button to skip the intro movie.... |

The point is, if you are going to skip it manually anyway... why bother with the intro at all. I am aware you can press start to skip it, but there is no reason it needs to be played if it is going to be skipped. |

Either way, no need for CCP to do extra work because you are too lazy to press a single button when you restart Dust. |

I'm kind of in this train, but just to play along I'd say they could do what other games do: Leave the main menu alone for too long and a trailer plays. I'm just grumpy that I actually have to press start when it says "Press Start". I'm too lazy to reach that far! :P
Actually, this gives me a thought... How about the trailer plays, but at the bottom it says "Press Start to Continue" or whatever, and then we just don't have a regular start to continue screen. The trailer could act as that screen. |

I personally enjoy the intro trailer and occasionally watch it when I log in. Instead of deciding what everyone must need purely on your own dislike for it, push the start button. |

People decide what other people need from their own dislike all the friggen time, why should I have to be any different. |

Almost all games have a skippable intro, so Dust's is no problem for me.
The multiple message boxes at the start, are pretty annoying though. Yes I know i'm about to connect to CCP servers! Why do you need my approval?! |

Why? Because you're a noname scrub who's giving awful suggestions based on nothing but personal preference. There is no benefit to removing it, and it's an enjoyable thing to watch, especially when I'm showing my buds when they pop over. |

You have a name? You are someone important? I didn't say remove it, I said the option to autoskip. And again, people give suggestions based on personal preference everyday. But you know, this thread alone has reminded me what the online gaming community is, nothing more than a bunch of a*holes. |

I respect your opinion thats what these forums are here for and honestly have gotten complaints about this and the popups from local friends just getting into the game.. I personally apply war paint while watching the intro so im cool with it... |

Trust me, my e-peen is massive. There are only few who can hope to match me. Also I post for myself, not because or for my Corporation, pretty sure I had a disclaimer at some point to make that well known. I'm sorry but to me the guy seemed like he felt he was able to make a bad suggestion and then legitimate it by saying he should be able to decide what everyone wants because everyone does it anyways. It rubs me the wrong way. |

I don't think you actually have to press start, and that the other buttons will also move you on to the next screen... Where you have to confirm that you want to connect to the servers and actually play, lol. |

I'd actually like to remove all the button presses between starting Dust and being in the mercs quarters. Even character selection can be done with a default and a "press X to select a different character" message.

I am happy you think you are important. Your ego must be so hurt that you need to make yourself feel better by talking down to random people on the internet. Personally don't give half a crap about what some random idiot thinks. It was a suggestion, I was not aiming it at everyone... never even had the word everyone in a single post. Also I believe I stated that it is an option, not a requirment. So if you enjoy pressing 4 buttons to log into a game have at it. But for those who wish to not have to bother with it, let us have our way. But then you are one of those, this is all about me people... since it stokes your massively important image. With that said I think I will retire from this thread, since it has turned into nothing more than a nerd rage issue. Enjoy yourself, may we meet on the field of battle... so I can put a bullet in your head legally. |

There has been too much violence. Too much pain. But I have an honorable compromise. Just walk away. Give me your pump, the oil, the gasoline, and the whole compound, and I'll spare your lives. Just walk away and we'll give you a safe passageway in the wastelands. Just walk away and there will be an end to the horror.

I totally enjoy watching the intro movie from time to time. Even bought and read the book that it's based on. It's really not that hard to press start and skip it. I mean really?! |
