This shows that the game does not reward winning or losing UNLESS it is a PC battle. Currently the game rewards you with WP and gives very little extra incentive to actually "win" a match.

Isn't my proto rail kinda an "I win" button against infantry in just as many situations as proto AV is against my HAV? I have mixed feelings about this... AV vs HAV is a bit more of a complex issue then most people give it credit for.

I've used them on snipers, when they are lowbies and I need the extra damage for a tactical, as the lowbie shields are not exactly going to save you from counter-sniping.
