the issue is that some of the time the PS3 freezes so hard that it doesn't respond to holding down the power button at all. So short of magically having the PS3 fix itself we need to cut power in those cases.

I've never been able to get the Missile blaster pair the defenders start with repped by any amount at any point in time. I don't have this problem with any other structure suit or vehicle I'm tried repping.

I'm not sure if its the same thing but there are times that I've seen my markers fly off the map out into the red zones while respawning elsewhere. I just thought it was mislabeled transports or something and my links being destroyed.

The fitting window seems to take mechanics into account for the suit, but not say the armor plates on the suit. I don't know if that's how it is meant to work or if we just aren't seeing the bonuses or what, but it doesn't work that way in EVE so ...

Good-ish news everyone! I fixed the problem by way of both the cleaning I had done and forcing air flow through my PS3. I've got a high velocity fan set up to force extra air though the system and that plus the repairs seems to have done the trick.

Had some guys clean a bunch of gunk out of my system and replace the thermal paste and at first I thought it worked. Then I got a few minutes in and my PS3 hard froze again. Getting it cleaned out cost a lot more then the $30 their website implied...
