It's pretty good. Needs a bit better delays, regen rate, CPU (and/or utility mods need a buff) plus a decent damage threshold for regen and it'll be excellent. It's already a lot of fun to use and quite survivable in the right situations.

The BP has *ludicrous* AA and bullet magnetism, especially in hipfire. The shotgun, otoh, still suffers from spotty hit detection pretty regularly (though nowhere near as badly as it used to).
