Shield Extenders/Energizers/Regulatorz, DMG Mods & a Compact Nanohive.
Add your weapons of choice & you got an assault suit thats almost as good as a Min Assault.

My wife runs caldari assault and I like to run caldari scout when I need to kill stuff. On an alternate account I use the caldari sentinel which I prefer over the ammar sentinel. So, what is the deal with caldari? fast shield regeneration. My wife does use one armor plate but in reality most people don't use armor at all because it slows you down. On my caldari heavy I don't use armor at all. At best I may put a repair module. The thing with the caldari is that it is a hit and run guy. You shoot a couple of times and you hide for a few seconds. You then heal almost completely or even completely by that time so you shoot them again. Most people get killed by the second round. Only a few make it to the third but, never a fourth unless they kill you. I rather put a shield regulator and a shield recharger. You see the shield regulator makes it so that the time it takes for the shield to start to recharge is reduced. With recharger replenishes your shields faster as in more amount per second. With a recharger or two you could be healing at 50 health points per second and with the regulator all you have to do is wait abut 2 seconds before the recharging starts. So, if you don't kill a caldari right away or at least hit them once so that their shield countdown resets you are in a world of hurt because every two to three seconds they are coming back at you with full helth.
I have a corpmate that uses the kalakiota caldari C-1 suit. He doesn't use regulators nor rechargers but he does uses a shotgun with that suit. Again, he relies on that fast shield regen. On one of my sentinel fits I use 1 regulator and 2 damage mods. I have kill ammar heavys that are being actively repaired by a logi with this set up with no problems. There is nothing more priceless than seeing a logis face when their hevy has been killed right in front of them even though they are repairing them. |
