Assuming that he is in with sony, and that he got an advanced update, you are forgetting that 2.5 is a long time away, and there is most likely nothing in development at that time, let alone a beta version already existing.

I try to fly dropships every game, I live off of the Isk reward for pc. The longer We play, the more people spec fully into swarms and FG, and the harder it is to fly. I used to have 100mill, now I have 5mill

They know that there is an issue, and a fix is to come SOON(TM) But until now, if your squad cannot find the mcru, tell them to select another spawn point, then cancel deployment, and the dropship should now be a visible spawn. not a smooth fix...
