Why should picking a faction vary our skills. It shouldn't matter. I've been putting alot of skill points into my shield, and having it "not at it's best" because it's "not the best faction" for it, is plain lame.

You might be getting invalid not just because of running out of weapons, but you went over your CPU. I tried to add double shield extenders and it went over my CPU which was like 186/180 so I had to unequip it and replace it with something else. Y...

How do you become a Commander anyway? I suppose just fill out pre-requisites and you'll unlock the Commander rank and away you go? (Full Game) I don't notice any ranks in the beta (for now) so not really sure how the ranking system would/will work.
