It's a CQC weapon that does less damage than a shotgun, not OP at all. It also barely scratches shields. Not to mention that it and the Plasma Cannon are the only weapons that didn't get the 10% buff, so it's already been nerfed, only problem her...

Anyway... I thought that direct hits did the direct hit damage and the splash damage So that's like 400+ for a direct hit, at least that's how I thought it worked.
