I have heard the old one was scrapped because it favoured the defenders quite heavily. That said I think it should be brought back because it was great fun. With all the latest tweaks it is hard to say it would still be as imbalanced.

I've heard that the movement may get better, and was only ruined because of some new system they put in. Hopefully they fix the strafing and make the game more fun again.

It took a lot of effort to continue reading after seeing the use of the words "bunny hopper" but the post does have some interesting points. The SMG needs a buff, or it needs its skills put back to giving the DMG bonus first. It takes way too man...
