The passive skill itself is worth the investment. There are much better modules to consider using (if you're not into the max HP/DPS builds) like Profile Dampeners or Armor Reppers.

I hate being a plated Heavy and the only one advancing objectives, hacking, having a healthy KDR while holding those objectives, switching to a Logi throwing Uplinks and using my own Nanos, and only getting paid 250,000 ISK or 400 LP for my 2500 W...

Who uses STD or MLT? I use the Tactical and just pop off two rounds with the third one waiting, though rarely used. Put it on a STD Logi with a couple of Nanos and you'll be rolling in ISK in a week.
