I tried both scattered ion cannons and various proto missiles and I would chose either the fragmented or accelerated missiles, they take some getting used to but they demolish both infantry and vehicles.

I've been using it as my main weapon for the next 2 months and I love it, my personal best is 28-0, but I do think that it needs a direct damage buff if it's supposed to be an AV weapon (at least for the ADV and proto cannons).
