Weapon variety and skill arrangement. Makes it fairly easy to specialize in something (even if that particular something still kinda sucks) or just go ahead and try to be a jack of a all trades.

I don't, usually. Music can screw up my concentration or mask the sounds around the battlefield. I'd much rather know there's someone with an SMG behind me because I hear the gun, rather than feeling it rain lead down my back.
