Proposed changes Increase the range of shotguns, so that they are defensible up to around 30 to 40 meters. TTK at this range should be longer than rifles, but shotguns still remain a threat to wounded targets. Tighten up the spread of shotguns...

The fact that, in competitive matches, perch sniping was the only viable means of sniping is probably an indicator that sniper mechanics are broken/imbalanced. So it doesn't matter what you used to do, are doing and what you're going to do because...

Perhaps snipers shouldn't sit in one spot all match. Sniping should require repositioning, if you've been discovered. Pitching a tent on top of a tower is what is ruining this game.

Just some material discussing FPS. The FPS in Dust has improved but is far from optimal. Situations where too many people are in one area shooting at the same time still create dips in frames. I hope that CCP continues to improve the performance...

Amarr Commando is the most pointless commando suit there is. The only advantage you gain over the amarr assault is 2 light weapon slots. Everything else can be achieved, better, on an amarr assault.

Idk if you just got here for 1.9, but prior to the update, the bolt pistol's cqc capability was severely nerfed (as it should be). The new update undid that rebalancing and i'm pretty sure they are going to reimpliment these fixes soon.

Does anyone else have this problem? Happens especially when frames get really low. Basically when I switch to my magsec, then hit R1 "to quickly", it doesn't fire at all. I'm just sitting there holding R1. This never happens to with my toxin smg.
