My headset is the official playstation brand "4gamers" works well on both ps3 and pc. it didnt cost much (about 20-30 dollars), and i got a recharger station for the controller and an hdmi-cabel with it.

Without the splashdamage the forge gun is almost helpless in close combat against shotgunners or assault rifles.
