Agreed! Being defensive really isn't rewarded well even though its very important. Also wouldn't hurt if there was a noticeable bonus for winning the match. Encouraging getting a victory would also help encourage team play.

Hold R2 then press R3. Enjoy your new found ability to grant orders without using the map. I do agree with your other ideas. Not being able to place orders while dead kind of sucks

It's a good idea op but how would this work without affecting the ability to cook grenades? I love warming them up a bit before a throw or just running up to a shotgun scout with one in my hand. Don't take this away from me!

There are a few spots in the maps where you can hide behind a bit of terrain and shoot through it but due to some weirdness of the collision detection no one can shoot back at you through said terrain. This is probably what that sniper was taking ...

You get warnings at 1 hour to downtime, 30 minutes to DT, 15 minutes to DT and 5 minutes to DT. If you can't figure out how to not be in a match when DT starts there is nothing CCP can do for you.
