Maybe make one of them bracer knives ,as in knives that when switched to pop out of your forearms armour. Still taking up a weapon slot, just different animation for deploying them, think predator style arm shivs.

How do you call in a dropship and not get in it before someone else? As someone who does pilot ADS and logi dropships, iv only had someone steal one ONCE when I had to get out and rep it (when armour burn was still there)
