Maybe make one of them bracer knives ,as in knives that when switched to pop out of your forearms armour. Still taking up a weapon slot, just different animation for deploying them, think predator style arm shivs. |

Doesn't it make sense for all dropsuits to have those instead of simply punching....? |

naw, should be an extra weapon that takes up CPU/PG. |

I bought a new set of kitched knives yesterday, had to update my kitchen CPU cause wasn't able to fit them.. But my new razor with 15Giga Watt is a great to cut onions into pieces..

could make sense that caldari knives do more damage to armor, gallente to shield, amarr equally to both but less while minmatar will poison u with a some rusty knive and let u die slowly unless u have done the anti-tetanus injection before deploying your clone..
no really, other than gallente and caldari difference can't see other. As you said, different ranges/damage should be delivered as different weapons and it would make sense.. |

i was thinking maybe the gallente could have throwing knows that could still do melee and the minmatar could have like wolverine blades the amarr would have like a gold looking dagger (because they showy) the caldari already have knives |

So that the knives can better represent the culture and style of the race itself.
Amarr tend to see their weapons as an instrument of God. Therefore the knife would be highly decorative and might have holy inscriptions.
Minmatar... well, it's just a piece of metal with duck tape for a handle. What can I say?
Gallente one looks like a Klingon hook blade.
And we already know what the Caldari ones look like.
Yes, I saw the other racial blades. CCP showed them during fanfest 2013. |
