Mina speaks truth, I am also in that same squad a lot and yes u do share passive scanning data, it is awesome, mainly as the enemy doesn't know they are being constantly lit and relayed among 6 people, not straight away at least

Another suggestion i just remembered, perhaps EMP strikes can penetrate terrain, while the fact that they eliminate shields and equipment of any exposed enemies is useful to a degree, why would one not just drop a hybrid strike to kill all enemies...
