For a DS gunner fit I use the weakest nova knife I can to leave room for other defensive modules. Desperate at best if you are shot down, but its a bit of a thrill behind enemy li es with just a knife... for the minute or so that I last.

I was thinking a dropship with extra ehp, or fitted for scanning and used as recon, or an HAV with extra tank and only using one small turret for a more stout ground transport, that sort of thng. More personalization, less linear development.

I would love to see this for all the reasons mentioned. Its called a DROPship, not a sitship...if you aren't on a turret you better be on comms and get out when its time... But the thing is, they can't see **** in those seats, so an eject button ...

I support this idea. I also think that seeing an equipment item that blocks spawning in a certain radius for a set duration would be cool. It should be destructible and such like a nanohive or uplink.
