I was testing this out with my Forge Gun during my first game after the patch. The animation for the shot actually followed through to the ground, but my sights never turned red, even when directly hovering over an enemy HAV.

The best way to avoid any problems is to ignore any of these people. HMGs also received the short end of the stick when Uprising was released, but many of us still stuck with it because it is what we enjoyed using.

I have had no problems with the influx of LAVs. Although my installation WP farming has been shot in the side because of what seems to be an increase of tanks, LAV hunting more than makes up for my losses.
